Asparagus & Cheese Egg Bake

Cooking mode

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 100g fresh asparagus
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 10g spinach
  • To taste salt and pepper
  • 55g reduced fat grated cheese

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Begin by preheating the oven to 180c degrees.

  • Step 2

    Place the oil into a non-stick pan at medium-low heat and add the garlic – lightly fry the garlic for approximately 5 minutes or until lightly golden.

  • Step 3

    Add the asparagus and lightly fry the asparagus with the garlic for 5-8 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Using your bowl of the Ninja food processor and the dough blade, pour in the fried asparagus and the fried eggs, egg whites, baking powder, spinach, salt and pepper and the cheese and select low for 45 seconds to mix all of the ingredients together.

  • Step 5

    Pour the egg mixture directly into a round baking tin greased with olive oil.

  • Step 6

    Place in the oven and bake for approximately 20 – 25 minutes.

    Allow the egg bake to cool before slicing.
