Frikadelle

Tip: Add 50 ml of cold water to the minced beef before adding other ingredients and let chill in fridge for an hour. This way the patties will be even juicier after cooking.

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 400g minced beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 tbsp fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp fresh marjoram, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • Dried breadcrumbs for coating
  • Optional: 50ml cold water (if using cold water add extra 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs)

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. 

  • Step 2

    Insert grill plate in the unit and close lid. Select GRILL, set temperature to HIGH and set time to 10 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating. 

  • Step 3

    While unit is preheating, divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and hand-form each into a patty.  

  • Step 4

    Lightly sprinkle the patties with breadcrumbs from both sides. 

  • Step 5

    When the unit beeps to signify it has preheated, place patties on the grill plate. Close lid and cook for 5 minutes. 

  • Step 6

    After 5 minutes, flip patties and continue cooking.

  • Step 7

    When cooking is complete, serve hot with your favourite condiment on fresh toast or with potatoes.
