Dried Apple Chips

Ingredients

  • 4 apples, cored and thinly sliced (2-3mm)
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp icing sugar

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

Method

  • Step 1

    In a large bowl mix apple slices, lemon juice, cinnamon and sugar

  • Step 2

    Evenly spread out seasoned apple sliced on dehydrating rack

  • Step 3

    Insert dehydrating rack into unit and close lid. Select DEHYDRATE, set the temperature to 60°C and timer for 7 hours. Press START/STOP to begin dehydrating process

  • Step 4

    Once unit beeps to signify that the dehydrating process has finished, remove dehydrating rack from the unit and let cool down

  • Step 5

    Serve as is or store in air tight container for up to one week
