Utensils
Step 1
Unroll pastry and cut pastry into 8 equal pieces. Line 2 Oven Trays with baking parchment. Place cut pastry onto parchment. Score pastry all around, 1cm from edge.
Step 2
Core, deseed and finely slice the apples. Brush apple with lemon juice. Arrange apple slices fanned out over pastry. Brush pastry edges with egg. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over apple slices.
Step 3
Install wire racks on Level 1 and 3. Select BAKE, set 2 level, set temperature to 180°C and set time to 16 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin preheating.
Step 4
When the unit has preheated, place Oven Trays on wire rack on Level 3. Close oven door to begin cooking.
Step 5
After 14 minutes, check to see whether pastries are brown enough. Leave for few more minutes if necessary.
Step 6
When cooked, place on a wire rack and allow to cool slightly before dusting with icing sugar. Best served warm.
