Air frying is the best way to get the crispiest skin on a Jacket Potato. Try it once and you will never make them in the oven again.

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 2 x 225g Maris Piper or King Edward Potatoes, washed and poked all over with a fork
  • 2 tsp Veg Oil
  • 1 tbsp coarse Salt, such as Maldon
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Butter

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Massage the Oil all over the Potatoes.

  • Step 2

    Roll the Potatoes in the course Salt.

  • Step 3

    This is what makes the skin really crispy.

  • Step 4

    Place the potatoes in the basket select the air fry function on 200c.

  • Step 5

    Set the time for 45 minutes.

  • Step 6

    Check that it is cooked all the way through then remove from the basket and cut a slit down the centre so the skin remains crisp.

  • Step 7

    Season with Salt and Pepper, add a dollop of butter and your favourite toppings!
