Buttermilk Chicken Skewers

For the buttermilk marinate

  • 250ml buttermilk
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp harisa powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley of thyme
  • salt & pepper

Additional ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breast
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 zucchini
  • cooked corn on the cob
  • pickled cucumbers

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Prepare marinate, by mixing all ingredients together. Set aside.

  • Step 2

    Cut chicken breast into even pieces. Put them in the buttermilk marinate and leave it in the fridge for minimum 4h.

  • Step 3

    In the meantime cut vegetables into same size pieces.

  • Step 4

    Set the Foodi health grill on the grill mode and medium heat.

  • Step 5

    Assembly skewers by threading chicken and vegetables on the skewers.

  • Step 6

    Grill for 15-20 min turning at least once.

  • Step 7

    Make sure that meat is cooked before serving.

  • Step 8

    Serve with pickled cucumbers and grilled corn.
