Chocolate Banana Choc Chip Cones

  • 4 wafer ice cream cones
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 50g dark chocolate, broken up

For the choc balls

  • 2 scoops vegan chocolate or salted caramel protein powder
  • 4 tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp smooth nut butter
  • 4 tbsp oat milk

For the banana choc chip 'ice cream'

  • 2 frozen bananas, cut into chunks
  • 1 tbsp smooth nut butter
  • 50ml oat milk
  • Dash vanilla extract 
  • 50g dark chocolate chips

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

Method

  • Step 1

    First make the choc balls: Mix together the ingredients until they come together. Divide into 4 and roll into balls then chill in the fridge.

  • Step 2

    Whizz up the frozen banana chunks in your Ninja Kitchen food processor or blender with the nut butter, oat milk and vanilla until thick and smooth then mix in the choc chips.

  • Step 3

    Place the wafers in an ice cream stand. Spoon the banana ‘ice cream’ mixture into each of the cones so they fill from the bottom up to the top.

  • Step 4

    Place a ball on top of each cone. Melt the coconut oil and chocolate then spoon over each one to cover the balls and top of the cone. Freeze for at least ½ an hour then enjoy!
