TIP: To make your own granola or oat topping, place 60g jumbo oats, 10g caster sugar, pinch cinnamon and 10g butter in a frying pan and cook for 4 minutes, stirring constantly, until golden. Leave to cool completely and store in an airtight container until needed.

Step 1
Place the butter in a small saucepan over a medium heat and once melted stir constantly until it starts to smell nutty and turn brown. Take off the heat and whisk in the golden syrup, milk powder, double cream and vanilla. Then gradually whisk in the whole milk.
Make sure tub base is closed. Pour base into empty Swirl Tub. Place storage lid on tub and freeze for 24 hours.
Remove tub from freezer and remove lid from tub. Install Swirl Tub into outer bowl and cover with processing lid, placing so the lines on the lid and handle align, turn clockwise until you hear a click.
Plug in your unit, slide outer bowl onto base with handle centered on the unit. Twist handle to the right to raise platform until you hear a click.
Select SOFT SERVE then select ICE CREAM.
When processing is complete, dispense into a chilled bowl or cone and serve immediately and top with granola or oat topping if you like.
