Buttery Green Beans Almondine

Cooking mode

  • 400g trimmed green beans
  • 100g almond shavings or chopped almonds
  • 30g butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 10ml fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Boil a sauce pan of water, season it with a pinch of salt and blanch the beans for 2mins. Drain and keep warm

  • Step 2

    Melt the butter in a sauté pan and toast the garlic and almonds for 2-3 mins until crunchy

  • Step 3

    Add the beans to the pan mix with the almonds and garlic, coating them in the butter

  • Step 4

    Squeeze the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper

  • Step 5

    Serve in a dish, garnished with freshly chopped parsley
