Chocolate Thickshake

This super decadent American-style Chocolate Thickshake is made with 3 simple ingredients; good quality chocolate ice cream, milk, and cocoa powder. Perfect served as a dessert or cooling beverage in the summer.

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 1 x 475ml tub high quality chocolate ice cream
  • 125ml barista style oat milk
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder

Topping suggestions (optional)

  • Whipped cream
  • Sprinkles
  • Maraschino/cocktail cherries
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Chopped nuts

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Leave the ice cream to soften enough in order to remove from the tub and place into the empty ice cream tub provided with the unit. If the ice cream height is higher than the max line slice off the top, cut into slices and place around the sides of the tub. Add the oat milk and cocoa powder. Place the lid on top and place into the freezer for 15 minutes. You may also want to chill your serving glass(es) in the freezer too.

  • Step 2

    Remove tub from freezer and remove lid from tub. To assemble ready for
    processing, refer to Steps 1-5 in the Quick Start Guide.

  • Step 3

    Select MILKSHAKE. Once processing is complete, serve in glasses immediately. This recipe makes enough for 1 large glass or 2 medium glasses. Top with any of the optional toppings and enjoy.

    Notes:

    For a healthier option use low sugar ice cream brands such as Halo Top or Oppo. Chocolate Hazelnut also tastes delicious! Vegan ice cream and whipped cream is also now readily available in most supermarkets.
