Creamy frozen bananas, chunky chocolate chips, and chopped walnuts make this Chunky Monkey Nice Cream extra special. Just as delicious as ice cream but so much healthier!

Cooking mode

- 50g dark chocolate (85% cacao solids)
- 35g walnuts
- 375g frozen bananas (roughly 4 bananas)
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp nut butter
- 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
- Pinch sea salt

Step 1
Add the dark chocolate to the food processor bowl and PULSE until they begin to resemble chocolate chips. Transfer to a small bowl then add the walnuts and repeat. Stir the walnuts into the chocolate chips and set to one side.

Add the frozen bananas, vanilla extract, nut butter, lemon juice and sea salt to the food processor bowl and select PUREE. Run the programme as many times as needed, scraping down the sides of the bowl as you go along, until you are left with a smooth mixture.

Carefully remove the blade from the processor and scrape off any excess mixture with a silicone spatula. Stir in the chopped walnuts and chocolate.

Transfer to an airtight container then place into the freezer until firm (about 2-4 hours) before serving.
