Coronation Sausage Rolls

These delicious sausage rolls are a treat for any celebration.

Cooking mode

  • 350g good quality sausagemeat
  • 1 tbsp pickle
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped sage leaves
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 x 320g ready rolled puff pastry, at room temperature
  • 1 egg, beaten

Utensils

  • Step 1

    In a medium bowl, mix sausagemeat, pickle, sage and season to taste.

  • Step 2

    Unroll pastry and cut in half lengthways.

  • Step 3

    Divide sausagemeat in two and roll into a long sausage shape.

  • Step 4

    Place on pastry, brush long edge of pastry with water. Seal pastry around sausagemeat. Cut each sausage into 6 pieces using a floured sharp knife. With a sharp knife, cut a few slashes into pastry top.

  • Step 5

    Insert a crisper plate in both drawers. Add sausage rolls to Zone 1 drawer and Zone 2 drawer. Brush sausage rolls with egg. Insert into unit. Select Zone 1, turn the dial to select AIR FRY, set temperature to 190°C and set time to 10-12 minutes. Select match. Press the dial to begin cooking.
