A beautiful grey tea infused loaf with a super thick lemon glaze. Each slice you bite into you get a delicious aroma from the tea. A perfect Sunday afternoon tea party treat. The white chocolate shavings is optional, and you can change to milk or dark chocolate.

Step 1
Begin by preheating your oven at 170C degrees.
Step 2
Using the bowl of your Ninja Kitchen along with the dough blade, add the room temperature cake butter along with the white sugar and select low for 15 seconds to cream both ingredients together.
Step 3
Rip the earl grey tea bags open and pour the dry tea directly over the creamed butter and sugar, also add the flour, eggs and vanilla extract and select low again for 15-20 seconds to mix the wet and dry ingredients together.
Step 4
Place the batter in a loaf tray, lined with greaseproof paper, pour the batter in the tin and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Step 5
Pierce to check the loaf has baked through. Remove from the oven and allow the loaf to cool for approximately 20-25 minutes, then remove from the loaf tin and cool completely on a wire rack.
Step 6
Make the thick glaze by mixing the icing sugar with the lemon and vanilla extract and glaze the top of the loaf, sprinkle with chocolate shavings (optional).
