Easy Peel Chestnuts

Take the fuss out of Christmas meal prep and whip up a batch of these Easy Peel Chestnuts with minimal effort. Buttery and moist they’re sure to impress!

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 1L cold water
  • 400g fresh chestnuts

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Cut a large ‘X’ into each chestnut, scoring half way into the flesh. Add the water and chestnuts to the cooking pot and secure the pressure lid. Select PRESSURE, HI, and set the time to 15 minutes. Let the programme run and allow the pressure to naturally release.

  • Step 2

    Once the pressure has released drain into the air fryer basket. Wipe clean the cooking pot, insert back into unit along with the air fryer basket. Shut the crisping lid and select BAKE, set the temperature to 200°C and time to 5 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Once cooking is complete wrap the chestnuts in a clean tea towel and leave to cool for 5 minutes before peeling.
