Step 1
Crush bread into the Ninja 3-in-1 Power Nutri Blender. Cut catfish fillet into coarse pieces and chop into small pieces and put in the Power Nutri Mixer. Mix fish and bread with onion, garlic, herbs and spices and form into 5-6 meatballs. If the meatballs are too soft, add some breadcrumbs.
Step 2
Set Ninja Multicooker to Sear/Sauté position – Level: Mid. Add olive oil and fry the meatballs from both sides for about 5 minutes. Remove meatballs.
Step 3
Add some oil for the sauce in the Ninja Multicooker and sauté the chopped onions with the garlic and spices in it. Deglaze with tomatoes and wine. Season with sugar, pepper & salt and let it reduce slightly. Add the meatballs again with broth and simmer for about 15 minutes in the Multi Cooker. Reduce heat if necessary.
Step 4
Serve meatballs sprinkled with mint and coriander. As a side dish, couscous tastes good.
