Hazelnut Spread

A simple to make hazelnut spread recipe, using just 6 ingredients with no additives or nasty surprises!

  • 2 cups blanched hazelnuts
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • ¼ cup hazelnut milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla flavouring

  • Step 1

    Heat the oven to 180 and add the blanched hazelnuts to a baking tray

  • Step 2

    Roast the hazelnuts in the oven for 5 minutes until lightly golden

  • Step 3

    Leave to cool then add the roasted hazelnuts to a food processor and blend for 5 minutes until the oils are released and it forms a paste

  • Step 4

    Add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor until they are blended together

  • Step 5

    Pour the mix into a jar and put it into the fridge to set
