Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 30g skimmed milk powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon xanthan
  • 1 tablespoon malt powder
  • 75ml double cream
  • 325ml whole milk
  • 2 tablespoon raw agave nectar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Utensils

  • Large bowl
  • Whisk
  • Microwave
  • Scale
  • Step 1

    In a large microwave safe bowl, whisk together skimmed milk powder, xanthan gum and malt powder. 

  • Step 2

    Slowly whisk the cream, milk, agave and vanilla into the mixture into the dry ingredients and whisk to combine. Microwave the mixture for 45 seconds. Remove from the microwave and whisk until fully combined and the sugar is dissolved.  

  • Step 3

    Make sure tub base is closed. Pour base into empty Swirl Tub. Place storage lid on tub and freeze for 24 hours. 

  • Step 4

    Remove tub from freezer and remove lid from tub. Install Swirl Tub into outer bowl and cover with processing lid, placing so the lines on the lid and handle align, turn clockwise until you hear a click. 

  • Step 5

    Plug in your unit, slide outer bowl onto base with handle centered on the unit. Twist handle to the right to raise platform until you hear a click. 

  • Step 6

    Select SOFT SERVE then select ICE CREAM.  

  • Step 7

    When processing is complete, dispense into a chilled bowl or cone and serve immediately.
