Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • Butter for greasing
  • Flour for dusting
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 125ml sunflower oil
  • 200ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 175g caster sugar
  • 250g self raising flour
  • 10g cocoa powder, sifted

Utensils

  • 22cm bundt cake tin
  • Step 1

    Generously grease Ninja Ring Cake Tin or 22cm bundt cake tin with butter and dust with flour, shake off excess, then set aside. 

  • Step 2

    Pour 180ml water in the Combi Pan for steaming. Place the Crisper Plate on top and set aside until needed. 

  • Step 3

    In a large bowl, add all ingredients, except for the cocoa powder, in the order listed Whisk together until completely mixed into a smooth batter. 

  • Step 4

    In another bowl, pour or spoon half of the mixture. Add cocoa powder to one half and mix well.  

  • Step 5

    Spoon both mixtures alternatively into the prepared cake tinUsing a skewer, swirl to mix slightly in tin. 

  • Step 6

    Close door and flip the SmartSwitch to COMBI COOKER. Select COMBI BAKE and set time to 15 minutes and temperature to 175˚C. Select START/STOP to begin cooking (the unit will steam for approx. 20 minutes before countdown timer begins). 

  • Step 7

    When cooking is complete, allow to cool down completely before slicing and serving.
