Cooking mode

- 400g PizzaExpress Pizza Dough
- 8 tbsp Passata
- 150g Mozzarella, drained and torn
- Black pepper
- Dried oregano
- 1 tsp Drizzle of olive oil
- Fresh basil

Step 1
Install the Accessory Rack in the bottom level of the unit, then place the Pizza Stone on top.

Turn dial to select PIZZA, then use the right dial to select ARTISAN then use the right-hand dial to select ARTISAN and set time to 2 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating (preheating will take approx. 15 minutes). Unit will beep once preheat is complete.

Divide the PizzaExpress dough into two equal balls. Lightly flour a clean work surface (this will prevent the dough from sticking). Stretch and toss dough by hand into a 25cm circle about 1/3 cm thick.

Top the dough with passata, leaving a 1.5 cm edge for the crust. Then evenly sprinkle mozzarella, oregano and black pepper. Drizzle with olive oil. Do not overtop the pizza.

When unit is preheated and ADD FOOD is displayed, open the door, slide a floured pizza peel under the pizza, then transfer the pizza to the hot stone.

Close door and press START/STOP to begin cooking. If more time is necessary or a darker pizza is desired, increase the time using the dial.

When cooking is completed, remove pizza using the peel and let rest for a few minutes before cutting, garnish with basil leaves and serve. Repeat with remaining dough.
