Roasted Mixed Nut & Seed Spread

This nutrient-dense Roasted Mixed Nut and Seed Spread is perfect slathered over toast, mixed into smoothie bowls, or eaten straight from the spoon.

Ingredients

  • 150g mixed raw nuts
  • 50g mixed raw seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • Generous pinch sea salt

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat your oven to 170°C and add your raw mixed nuts to a baking sheet. Roast raw nuts for 8-12 minutes, or until fragrant and slightly golden brown. Set to one side and cool.

  • Step 2

    Place the mixed seeds into a dry pan and toast on a low to medium heat until they begin to crackle and become fragrant. Remove from the pan and leave to cool.

  • Step 3

    Add the cooled roasted nuts and seeds followed by the melted coconut oil and sea salt into the BOWL then install the blade assembly.

  • Step 4

    Select POWERMIX, then twist Power Paddle anti-clockwise continuously while blending until the program is complete.

  • Step 5

    Remove blades after blending and transfer to an airtight, sterile jar. Store for up to 3 weeks in a cool, dry place.
