Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 175g pitted dates
  • Heaped tbsp cashew butter (could also use almond or peanut)
  • 100ml water
  • A pinch salt
  • 90g rolled oats
  • Large handful dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds- could also swap for sunflower or pumpkin seeds
  • Dash vanilla extract - optional

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Preheat your oven to 180c and line a tray with baking paper.

  • Step 2

    In your Ninja Kitchen food processor, combine the dates, nut butter and water, then blend to form a smooth paste.

  • Step 3

    Toss all of your dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl, then pour the date mixture in and give everything a thorough mix so that everything is evenly coated.

  • Step 4

    Press the mixture down onto your tray, similarly to when making granola bars. Pop this into the oven to bake for 12 minutes then allow to cool

  • Step 5

    Carefully break the granola up into clusters, then place these back into the oven for a further 10 minutes until golden brown.

  • Step 6

    Store in an airtight jar or container ready to enjoy with some plant milk.
