Roast Turkey Crown

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 2kg turkey crown
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Sprigs of thyme
  • 1 small onion, peeled and quartered
  • 250ml water
  • 8-10 slices of pancetta
  • To taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp runny honey

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Loosen the skin over the turkey breast. Place two slices of orange, a bay leaf and thyme sprig under the skin, on both sides of the breast, criss cross pancetta slices over breast. Season to taste.

  • Step 2

    Put rack into pot with onions and water. Place turkey crown on

  • Step 3

    Assemble pressure lid, making sure the pressure release valve is in the SEAL position.

  • Step 4

    Select PRESSURE and set to high. Set time to 25 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin.

  • Step 5

    Meanwhile mix oil and honey in a small bowl.

  • Step 6

    Once cooking has finished, quick release pressure by moving the pressure valve to the VENT position. Carefully remove pressure lid.

  • Step 7

    Brush turkey with oil mixture.

  • Step 8

    Close crisping lid, select AIR CRISP, set temperature to 200°C and time to 10 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin.

  • Step 9

    The turkey should be golden brown. Carefully remove turkey from unit. Let the turkey rest for 15 minutes covered in foil. Cooking is complete when internal temperature reached 75°C.
