Vegan Salted Caramel & Chocolate Doughnuts

- 40g dairy free butter
- 90ml Unsweetened Mighty Pea m.lk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 60ml maple syrup
- 30g Mighty Human Salted Caramel Vegan Protein
- 80g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 50g dairy free cream cheese
- 15ml maple syrup
- 5g unsweetened cocoa powder
Utensils

Step 1
Using the cup of your nutri blender, add in the butter, Unsweetened Mighty Pea m.lk, vanilla extract and maple syrup, then blend for approximately 30 seconds to mix the wet ingredients together

Transfer the wet ingredients to a mixing bowl, sift the flour, baking powder and Mighty Human Salted Caramel Vegan Protein over the wet ingredients and fold using a spatula

Pour the doughnut batter into a piping bag and pipe in a doughnut shaped baking tray

Pre-heat your Mini Flip Oven to 170 degrees (if you are using a conventional oven pre-heat the oven at the start)

Place the doughnuts in a baking tray and bake for approximately 16-18 minutes

Allow the doughnuts to cool for around 5-8 minutes before removing them from the tray. Then place the doughnuts on a wire rack to dry fully

Prepare the cream cheese topping by mixing together dairy-free cream cheese along with the maple syrup and cocoa powder until you achieve a creamy frosting consistency

Dip the doughnuts in the cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with nuts (optional). Allow the cream cheese to be at room temperature, this will allow it to mic easier
