Spicy Meatballs with Garlic Brown Rice Noodles
This is a great lunch or dinner idea.
You can make it in large batches and keep in the airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
If you don’t like brown rice noodles, you can serve it with rice or soba noodles.

For the meatballs
- 500g pork or beef mince meat
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chopped ginger
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
For the chilli sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar or white vinegar or rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 dried chillies ( optional)
Extras
- Baby bokchoi
- Brown rice noodles, cooked
- Sesame seeds
- Fresh coriander
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 3 tbsp all purpose flour
Utensils

Step 1
In a Large bowl mix together meatball ingredients until well combined.

Shape into balls, use small ice-cream scoop to form same size balls.

Roll each ball in all purpose flour.

Set your Ninja Foodi Multicooker on sear, add 1 tbsp of oil and fry meatballs for a minute or two

Add all sauce ingredients, mix until all is well combined

Change setting to slow cook option. Choose medium heat and 3h time. Close the lid and let it cook.

After the time it’s done, mix cornflour with 2-3 tbsp of water and add it to the meatballs. The sauce will get thicker.

Serve with cooked noodles and your favourite toppings as vegetables or seeds. Sprinkle with fresh coriander
