Prawn Curry

This Prawn Curry Recipe is a rich, delicious and aromatic recipe that is quick and easy to prepare. It is delicious served with chapatti, naan or rice.

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Onion Diced
  • 3/4 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Green Chilli Paste (Optional)
  • 200g Tomatoes Pureed, tinned or fresh
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Madras Curry Powder (Optional)
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 200g King Prawns Cleaned and Deveined

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Heat the Ninja Foodi on Saute mode.

  • Step 2

    Add Oil and once hot, add Onion and Garlic and saute for 5 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Add Ginger, Garlic and Green Chilli and saute for 1 minute.

  • Step 4

    Stir in Tomatoes and Tomato Puree.

  • Step 5

    Add Coriander powder, Cumin Powder, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala, Madras Curry Powder and Water.

  • Step 6

    Add Prawns.

  • Step 7

    Close the lid and select Manual. Cook on high for 5 minutes. Do a quick release.

  • Step 8

    Serve warm with Rice, Chapaati or Naan.
