Chicken Soup

It’s the time of the year for healthy chicken soup with a lot of veggies.

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1l water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • peppercorns
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 stems of parsley
  • 1 leek
  • 1 parsnip
  • celery root
  • chilli powder

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Peel and cut the leek, parsnip, onion and celery root into big pieces. Add all the ingredients apart from the spices and carrots in the pot of the Ninja Multi-Cooker.

  • Step 2

    Use the pressure lid and make sure the pressure release valve is in the SEAL position. Select pressure, set to HI and time to 40 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin.

  • Step 3

    When pressure cooking is complete, quick release the pressure by moving the pressure release valve to the VENT position. Carefully remove lid when the unit has finished releasing pressure.

  • Step 4

    Get the chicken out of the pot and pull the chicken into tiny pieces.

  • Step 5

    Season the stock with salt, pepper, parsley and Chili. Add the fine sliced carrots and put it with the pulled chicken back into the pot.

  • Step 6

    Let the soup simmer for a few more minutes, then serve with fresh herbs and with noodles, if you like.
