Easy Butter Chicken
An short cut, easy version for warming, hearty, comforting Butter Chicken. This recipe is easy to scale up and is ready to eat in under 30 minutes.

Cooking mode

- 3 tbsp Ghee or Oil
- 6 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 2 inch Ginger, crushed
- 1 tsp ground Cumin
- 1 tsp ground Coriander
- 1 tsp smoked Paprika
- 1/2 tsp group Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2lb boneless, skinless Chicken Thighs cut into chunks
- 400g tinned Plum Tomatoes, blended
- 250ml Double Cream
- 4 tbsp Fried Onions
- Coriander to garnish

Step 1
Press Saute on the Foodi, then add Ghee or Oil.

Add the Garlic and Ginger, and cook for 1 minute stirring constantly to make sure it doesn’t catch..

Add Cumin, Coriander, Paprika, Turmeric, Chilli, Garam Masala, Salt and 1 – 2 tbsp of Water. Then cook for 1 minute.

Now add the Tomatoes and 3 tbsp Water.

Switch off the Saute setting. Add the Chicken and mix through.

Close the lid and set the vent to seal.

Select the manual setting and set the time for 6 minutes at high pressure.

Once ready, carefully release the steam. Carefully open the lid, and select saute.

Stir in the cream, and allow the sauce to reduce for 3 – 4 minutes.

Taste and adjust seasoning.

Sprinkle over Coriander and Fried Onions.
