Indian Roast Chicken
During busy periods, when the oven is full and the hobs are too, there is nothing better then being able to roast a whole chicken basted in spices in the Ninja Foodi Multicooker!

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!
- 250ml Water or chicken stock
- To taste Salt and pepper
- 1 whole (approx 4lb) Chicken (skin on)
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1.5 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1-2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder (or red chilli powder)
- 1.5 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- ½ tsp Ground turmeric
- ½ tsp Garam masala
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice

Step 1
Pour the chicken stock into the Foodi bowl and add salt and pepper

Tie the chicken legs together with a string

In a small bowl, combine the oil, ginger, garlic, chilli, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, salt and pepper and lemon juice

Baste the chicken all over with the mixture, both inside and out

Place, breast side down, inside the Air Frying basket

Close the pressure lid and seal

Select pressure and set to 22 minutes. Press the start button

Quick release the pressure by pressing cancel and carefully moving the valve to vent

Remove the lid gently and mix together the crisping ingredients

Brush over the chicken

Close the lid and set the temperature to 200C. Air crisp for 10 minutes

Serve on a bed of Jewelled rice and enjoy!
