Cooking mode

- 1 cube of yeast (42g)
- 1 egg
- 370g flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 65g butter
- 175ml lukewarm water
- 30g sugar
- 50g dried apricots
- 50g marzipan
- egg yolk
- milk

Step 1
Heat milk in the microwave lukewarm. Melt the butter. Add yeast & sugar to the milk and dissolve the yeast.

Sift flour into a large bowl. Add egg, salt and melted butter. Pour in the yeast milk mixture. Knead everything into a smooth dough.

Cut soft apricots and marzipan into small pieces and knead them under the dough.

Let the yeast dough rise in a warm place for about 30-45 min.

Knead again and divide into three pieces. Roll out of the pieces longer strands. Place three ends on top of each other and alternately place the strands on top of each other, creating a braided braid. Connect both ends together to form a wreath.

As some support, choose a small cake tin and put the wreath in it. Prepare you Ninja Multi-cooker. Place the low feed grid in the pot. Place the yeast braid on it. Let it rise for about 10-15 min.

Mix the egg yolk with the milk and brush the braid with it. Sprinkle with with sugar.

Close the lid of the multi-cooker. Function: Select BAKE. Temperature: 175° C – time setting to 30 min. After 30 min. baking time, cover the braid with aluminum foil so that it does not turn too brown.

Chopstick sample after 40-45 min. If there is still dough on the chopstick, bake for another 5-10 min.
