Chocolate Gelato

This high fibre Keto Chocolate Gelato is silky smooth and tastes divine! Made from a sugar-free chia pudding it’s packed full of healthy fats and antioxidants. With just under 4g of net carbs per serving it’s perfect for keeping blood sugar stable.

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 65g chia seeds
  • 195ml/210g full fat tinned coconut milk
  • 195ml water
  • 25g cacao powder
  • 65g sugar-free maple syrup
  • 15g sugar-free powdered sugar
  • 1.5ml soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla powder
  • Pinch sea salt

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Whisk together all of the ingredients in a large non-reactive mixing bowl then leave for 30 minutes in refrigerator to thicken.

  • Step 2

    Blend on high in a bullet style blender until smooth. Pour into the ice cream tub, secure the lid, and freeze overnight.

  • Step 3

    Once frozen, remove tub from freezer, remove lid, then place tub in outer bowl. Install paddle into outer bowl lid and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place bowl assembly on motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place.

  • Step 4

    Select GELATO. Once the programme has finished, remove from the tub and serve immediately either on its own or with a little grated chocolate and fresh berries.
