Milk Dinner Rolls
Cooking mode
When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!
- 350-400ml whole milk
- 100g butter, plus extra for greasing
- 700g strong white flour, plus extra for kneading
- 10g easy blend yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 small egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water

Step 1
Add milk to pan. Heat until tepid. Wash pan and grease with butter.

In a large mixing bowl add flour, yeast, salt, sugar and butter. Using fingertips, rub butter into flour. Gradually stir in milk until the mixture comes together.

Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic. Divide into 12 balls and arrange in a circle shape in pan. Cover pan with lid and leave to prove in a warm place until doubled in size. (About 1-2 hours).

Preheat oven to 220°C.

Brush rolls with egg mix. Bake in hot oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan and cool slightly on a wire rack. Then tear apart and serve.
