Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 200g Plain Chocolate
  • 200g Unsalted Butter
  • 3 Eggs
  • 200g Caster Sugar
  • 100g Self Raising Flour
  • Pinch Salt

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Preheat the unit (select bake) to 170C. Set the timer to 25 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Line a 8 x 8 cake tin with greaseproof paper or use a foil tin.

  • Step 3

    Melt the Butter and Butter in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Make sure the base of the bowl is not touching the water.

  • Step 4

    Stir until smooth and set aside to cool.

  • Step 5

    In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until pale and thickened (4-5 minutes).

  • Step 6

    Add the melted chocolate and mix through. Fold in the flour and salt.

  • Step 7

    Bake for 20 – 25 minutes. A toothpick inserted in the middle should come out with a few crumbs attached. Allow to cool completely.
