Chocolate Baked Oats

Using the Ninja Foodie Max Dual Zone 9.5L Air Fryer AF400UK to cook these delicious chocolate baked oats, a great snack or breakfast recipe.

Ingredients

  • 100g oats (1 measuring cup)
  • 1 egg
  • 250ml almond milk or milk of your choice
  • 1 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • A handful raspberries
  • A handful cacao nibs or chocolate chips
  • Flaked almonds to garnish

Method

  • Step 1

    Using a small deep baking dish, add the oats, cacao, baking powder and mix.

  • Step 2

    Add the milk, eggs, vanilla and honey and whisk until combined.

  • Step 3

    Add the cacao nibs and raspberries on top.

  • Step 4

    Place the dish into the air fryer, use bake mode and cook the baked oats for 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Baked oats should be slightly set with a gooey middle. Check the baked oats halfway and adjust the settings accordingly to your preferred consistency.

  • Step 5

    Allow to cool, take the dish out of the air fryer using oven gloves, garnish with flaked almonds and serve with some ice cream or yoghurt.
