Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 2 Rump steaks
  • 200g Tomato passata
  • 1 Garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 tsp Freshly chopped basil
  • ½ tsp Dried oregano
  • 30g Shredded mozzarella
  • 20g Grated parmesan
  • To taste Salt and pepper

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Insert grill plate in unit and close lid. Select GRILL, set temperature to HIGH and set time to 10 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin preheating

  • Step 2

    While unit is preheating, in a small bowl combine tomato passata, garlic, basil and oregano. Set to the side. Generously season steaks with salt and pepper

  • Step 3

    Once unit beeps to signify it has preheated, place steaks on the grill plate. Close lid to begin cooking

  • Step 4

    When there is 5 minutes left on the timer, open lid and flip both steaks. Top each steak with equal amount of tomato sauce and then sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan. Close lid to continue cooking

  • Step 5

    When cooking is complete, remove steaks from unit and allow to rest for 5 minutes

  • Step 6

    Serve garnished with basil and pasta
