KFC Fried Chicken
How to make crispy delicious KFC style Recipe Chicken at home in an air fryer!

Chicken Drumsticks and Thighs
- 2 lb Chicken Drumsticks and Thighs
- 1 Egg
- 250ml Buttermilk
Seasoned Flour
- 275g Plain Flour
- NADA Salt
- 2 tsp dry Thyme
- 2 tsp dry Basil
- 1 tsp dry Oregano
- 2 tsp Celery
- NADA Salt (Optional)
- 1 tsp dry Mustard
- 3 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1 tbsp Garlic Granules
- 2 tsp ground White Pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp ground Black Pepper

Step 1
Add the buttermilk and egg to a large bowl and whisk to combine. Add the chicken to the bowling leave for at least 30 minutes. Save the Buttermilk.

Step 2
Combine the flour and all the ingredients under seasoned flour to a large bowl and whisk together. Add 4 -5 tbsp Buttermilk to the Flour and mix through.

Step 3
Shake the excess liquid from the Chicken and add to the Flour. Repeat with all the Chicken and if possible leave for 30 minutes to stand before continuing.

Step 4
Preheat the Air Fryer at 180C.

Step 5
Spray the dredged Chicken with Vegetable Oil, then air fry for 20 minutes. Turn the Chicken, spray again and cook for a further 20 minutes. Check at the 25 – 30 minute mark if your Chicken pieces are small.
