Mackerel Fillets in White Wine Sauce
Tip: If you have any left over, don’t hesitate to make rillettes with it the next day by mixing the mackerel with cream cheese and a little bit of chopped chives.

Cooking mode

- 8 boneless mackerel fillets
- 10 sprigs fresh thyme
- 3 shallots, sliced into thin rings
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 20cl white wine
- To taste salt & pepper

Step 1
On the oven tray, place the mackerel fillets, skin side up

Slide a sprig of thyme under each of them and sprinkle with lemon zest, salt and pepper

Pour the lemon juice and white wine gently into the tray, then add shallots

Turn on your oven and select ROAST, set the temperature to 160°C and the cooking time on 20 minutes. Press START / PAUSE to begin preheating

Once the unit is preheated, place the oven tray directly on the rack

At the end of the cooking time, serve immediately with steamed potatoes
