Orange Blossom & Pistachio Ice Cream

Cooking mode

- 20g full-fat cream cheese
- 60g golden syrup
- 1 tbsp orange blossom water
- 175ml double cream
- 225ml whole milk
- 30g shelled pistachios, roughly chopped for mix-in

Step 1
In a large, microwave-safe bowl, microwave the cream cheese with the golden syrup for 10 seconds. Add the orange blossom water, whisk until smooth, then add the cream and milk and whisk again until combined.

Pour base mixture into the tub. Place storage lid on tub and freeze for 24 hours.

Remove tub from freezer, remove lid, then place tub in outer bowl. Install paddle into outer bowl lid and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place bowl assembly on motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place.

Select ICE CREAM.

Once processing is complete, use a spoon to create a 4cm-wide hole that reaches the bottom of the tub. Add the chopped pistachios to the hole and process again using the MIX-IN program.

Once processing is complete, remove ice cream from tub and serve immediately.
