Utensils
-
Step 1
Start by brining the pork belly in 1 litre water and 80g salt for 1 hour
-
Step 2
Place the pork belly in the Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill & Air Fryer, inserting the Digital Cooking Probe in to the middle of the pork. Select ROAST and set to 160°C. Leave to cook until it’s 55c in the center of the pork
-
Step 3
Remove from the Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill & Air Fryer and leave to rest for 10 minutes
-
Step 4
Once rested, slice off the skin. If you’d like to make crackling, place this back in to the Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill & Air Fryer on some oil and Air Fry at 200°C for 10 minutes
-
Step 5
Optional: You can slow roast your tomatoes at 140°C for 2-3 hours for a tastier flavour
-
Step 6
Slice the pork in to slices, ready to serve. To construct your sandwich, I’d recommend place a slice of lettuce on top of your sourdough bread, followed by your tomatoes, slices pork belly, pickles cucumber, hot sauce topped with a second slice of sourdough.
