Salt & Pepper Chilli Chips

FAKEAWAY VERSION OF SALT AND PEPPER CHILLI CHIPS WHICH COMPLEMENTS YOUR FAVOURITE ASIAN MEALS.

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 600g potatoes, cut into chips about 1cm thickness
  • 1/2 red pepper thinly sliced
  • 1-2 red chillis, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 2 spring onion, sliced into 2cm strips
  • 1/2 white onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Seasoning (you can increase the measurements and batch prep this for future use

  • 1 tsp fine salt
  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
  • 1/4 tsp msg(optional) if using cut the salt to 1/2 tsp

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Soak your chips in water for at least 30 mins, drain and pat dry them. Season with salt pepper and
    drizzle with oil, mixing well. Cook in your Air-fryer for 20 mins at 200ºC until golden brown and crispy.

  • Step 2

    In the mean time, heat a wok or a sauté pan and fry off the white onions for 1 minute, then add the
    peppers , fry off the for another minute and add the spring onions and garlic.

  • Step 3

    Add the chips and toss the wok to mix well , season with salt and pepper seasoning and mix everything
    again.

  • Step 4

    Serve as a side with your favourite fakeaway.
