Sausage, Sage & Onion Stuffing Balls

Cooking mode

  • 1 large onion, peeled and quartered
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 20g butter
  • 80g fresh bread, cut into chunks
  • 5 large sage leaves
  • 300g sausagemeat
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Preheat oven to 200˚C.

  • Step 2

    Install the chopping blade in the Precision Processor® Bowl. Add onion and garlic in bowl and select CHOP 2-3 times or until onion is finally chopped.

  • Step 3

    Melt butter in a frying pan. Remove onion from bowl and fry gently until the onion is soft but not brown. Stir occasionally. Turn off heat.

    Meanwhile add bread and sage leaves to bowl and select CHOP

  • Step 5

    Add sausagemeat, seasoning and fried onions. Select CHOP 1-2 times until the mixture is well combined. Make stuffing by shaping the mixture into balls about 3cm in diameter. Place in fridge for 30 minutes to firm up.

  • Step 6

    Place balls onto a greased baking tray. Cook for 30 minutes. The stuffing should be brown on outside and cooked through.
