Slow Cooked Mulled Wine

  • 1 litter of red wine, such as Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot
  • 1/2 cup of spiced rum
  • 5 tbsp honey or maple shroud
  • 5-6 whole cloves
  • 5 cardamom seeds
  • 4 whole star anise pods
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1 orange cut in slices
  • 1 vanilla stick

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!


  • Step 1

    Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.

  • Step 2

    Set foodi in low. Cover and cook on the low setting unit for around 1 hour.

  • Step 3

    Once the time is up, fill up each mug with hot wine.

  • Step 4

    Garnish with fresh cranberries, orange slices etc.

    Make it vegan by switching honey to maple syrup. You can also add more sweetness if you like. Add some brandy if you don’t like rum. You can also make this in advance and just reheat later.
