My love of peanut/almond butter knows no bounds and I am forever looking for new ways to use it in every meal, so I thought I would combine the two. Over the years, I have struggled to make a smooth nut butter, but patience is key and now I make nut and seed butters regularly

Step 1
Add the nuts to a baking tray and sprinkle with salt
Step 2
Bake at 160C/Gas Mark 3 for 10 minutes
Step 3
Allow to cool, then transfer to the food processor and process in short bursts making sure that you are scraping the sides down regularly (I process for a total of 15 minutes and take regular breaks in between)
