Zucchini Fritters

Cooking mode

  • 2 large zucchini or 1kg
  • 1 green onion or chive 
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove of garlic 
  • 0.5 cup flour 
  • Salt and pepper 
  • Oil for frying 

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Using food processor with grater attachment, grate the zucchini. 

  • Step 2

    Once grated, transfer zucchini to a bowl. Add 1 tsp of salt and let it sit for 15 min. 

  • Step 3

    After that time, squeeze the liquid out of the zucchini. 

  • Step 4

    Add rest of the ingredients. Mix until smooth and lump free. 

  • Step 5

    Heat up a medium non-stick frying pan on the stove on a medium heat with some frying oil. 

  • Step 6

    Using large spoon. Place 1 tbsp of batter onto the hot oil. Flatten the fritters with the back of a spoon and fry for couple of minutes on each side. 

  • Step 7

    Serve with some sour cream or favourite sauce.
