Masala Chicken Orzo
Creamy Masala Chicken Orzo is easy to make, full of hearty orzo, juicy chicken and lots of cheese.

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!
- 1lb chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 large onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 350g orzo
- 500ml chicken stock
- 250g double cream
- 1/2 juice of lemon
- 60g cheddar or parmesan, grated

Step 1
Season the Chicken Breast with Salt and Pepper.

Heat the Olive Oil and Butter in the Foodi on Saute function.

Add the cubed Chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes until seared all over. Remove and set aside.

Add the Onion and Garlic and cook, stirring for 3 minutes.

Add Red Chilli Powder, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder.

Add the Orzo to the pot and stir.

Add Chicken back to pot, add stock and stir everything together.

Turn off and close pressure lid.

Step 9
Cook on Manual, High Pressure for 5 minutes.

Step 10
Once cooking is complete, use Quick Pressure Release. (Carefully slide the valve to vent).

Carefully remove lid , select saute and stir through cream, lemon and cheese.

Cook for 1 minute and then turn off.
