Chicken Quesadillas

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 2 approx. 12cm mini flour tortillas
  • ½ tsp chipotle sauce
  • 1 tbsp salsa, plus more to serve as desired
  • 1-2 slices cooked chicken
  • 1 spring onion, sliced thinly
  • 20g peppadew peppers, roughly chopped
  • 50g smoked cheese, grated
  • Guacamole, to serve as desired
  • Sour cream, to serve as desired

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Flip unit down to the horizontal position and push the lever back all the way until it clicks into position.

  • Step 2

    Place 1 tortilla on the grill tray. Evenly cover with chipotle sauce, salsa, chicken, onions, and peppers. Top with the remaining tortilla and gently press down. Insert grill tray in unit.

  • Step 3

    Select GRILL, select MED and set the timer to 2 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin. Turn tortilla over halfway through cooking.

  • Step 4

    When cooking is complete, remove tray from unit. Sprinkle top of tortilla with cheese and return tray to unit. Select GRILL, select MED and set the timer to 6 to 8 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin.

  • Step 5

    When cooking is complete, remove tray from unit. Cut quesadilla and serve with salsa, guacamole and sour cream as desired.
