Green Tomatoes Chutney
This is great autumn condiment for cheese boards, meet, you can also use it in sauces, and it will last for a long time if well pasteurized

- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1.5 kg green tomatoes, finely sliced
- 60 g prunes, chopped
- 1.2 kg red onions, finely sliced
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 apples, finely sliced
- 1 red chili, seeded and finely chopped
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- Salt and black pepper
- Optional star arise and cumin seeds if you like the flavour

Step 1
Put the Ninja Multicooker on slow cooking mode on high

Pour the cider vinegar into the slow cooker pot and add the sugar. Stir well until the sugar dissolves

Add rest of the ingredients. Put the lid on ninja and cook for 3-4 hours

Check in on the chutney every few hours and give it a good stir to ensure it will cook evenly. After 3 hours if there is still too much liquid in the cooker, remove the lid and allow it to cook for another 30 min without the lid on, so the liquid will evaporate

Transfer the chutney to prepared jars

Keep in the fridge up to a month
