Ingredients

  • 50g chestnut mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 long ciabatta roll or small baguette
  • Soft butter, for spreading, as desired
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • 3 tsp cranberry sauce
  • 2 cooked rashers of bacon or thick slices of cooked ham
  • 40-50g stilton cheese, crumbled

Method

  • Step 1

    Flip unit down to horizontal position and push level back all the way until it clicks into position.  

  • Step 2

    Arrange mushrooms in an even layer on trayDrizzle over with oil. 

  • Step 3

    Insert the press into the unit. Select GRILL, select HIGH and set time to 8 minutesSelect START/STOP to begin. Bake until your desired shade is reached. 

  • Step 4

    Slice panini roll in half horizontally. 

  • Step 5

    Evenly spread butter on crust side of roll. Place one half butter side down on tray. Spread with mustard and cranberry sauce. Top with bacon, cheese and mushroom slices. Cover with panini top with butter on the outside.  

  • Step 6

    Place panini as far forward on the grill tray away from handle. Using the top handle, press down so the top cooking plate lowers.  

  • Step 7

    Insert the press into the unit. Select PANINI, select HIGH and set timer to 10-12 minutesSelect START/STOP to begin. Bake until your desired shade is reached. 

  • Step 8

    When cooking is complete, remove panini press from unit and serve immediately.
