  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 5 apples, cored
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter, cut in 5 pieces
  • 50g confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Ustensiles

  • Étape 1

Place sultanas and rum into a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until liquid simmers, about 30 seconds. Set aside.

  • Étape 2

Insert crisper plate in pan and pan in unit. Preheat unit by selecting ROAST, setting temperature to 160°C and setting time to 5 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin.

  • Étape 3

In a bowl, stir together walnuts, jelly, honey, cinnamon, salt and soaked sultanas. Set aside.

  • Étape 4

Place apples onto a large sheet of aluminum foil, folding up edges to create a bowl.

  • Étape 5

Place foil with apples into the unit. Using a small spoon, stuff walnut filling equally into the center of each apple and top each with a piece of butter. Select ROAST, set temperature to 160°C and set time to 25 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin.

  • Étape 6

While apples are cooking, combine confectioners’ sugar, milk and vanilla in a small bowl.

  • Étape 7

After 20 minutes, remove pan from unit. Drizzle confectioners’ sugar mixture evenly over each apple. Reinsert pan and select START/STOP to resume cooking.

  • Étape 8

When cooking is complete, remove foil and allow apples to cool briefly. Serve warm, spooning sauce over apples.
