Alfredo Sauce

This quick sauce is ideal for serving with pasta.

Tip: For a healthier option, swop the double cream for half single cream and half milk

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 25g butter
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled and minced
  • 300ml double cream
  • 1 tsp Italian dried herbs
  • As desired salt
  • As desired ground black pepper
  • 100g grated Parmesan, or vegetarian equivalent
  • 2 tbsp tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
  • To serve cooked pasta

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Heat the Ninja 18cm Sauce Pan on low to medium heat. Melt the butter in pan and then add garlic.  Allow to cook for 1-2 minutes until soft

  • Step 2

    When garlic is soft, reduce heat to low. Stir in cream, herbs, salt, and pepper and allow to simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently

  • Step 3

    Add in Parmesan and stir until melted then stir in parsley

  • Step 4

    Serve with cooked pasta and sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese, if desired
