Slow Cooked Beef Ribs

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 2kg beef short rib
  • 1l rich beef stock
  • 250ml red wine
  • 3 large carrots
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • Salt

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Sear the ribs in a pan/skillet on a high heat to get a nice deep brown crust

  • Step 2

    Cut the carrots in half lengthways, the onions into quarters and peeled, the bulb of garlic in half widthway and pick a few sprigs of rosemary and thyme

  • Step 3

    Place the veg and the herbs in the bottom of the Ninja Foodi Max 9-in-1 Multi-Cooker

  • Step 4

    Lay the ribs on top of the veg and cover with the stock and wine, leaving just a little of the ribs sticking out of the surface of the liquid

  • Step 5

    Slow cook on HIGH for 6 hours

  • Step 6

    Discard the cooked herbs

  • Step 7

    Serve with your choice of veg, you can use the liquid used to cook with as a delicious jus or gravy!
